BRS stands for ‘Ballistic Recovery System’ – and it’s amazing.  If you can afford it then installing a BRS is a major step up in safety for yourself and your family.

Basically, if anything should happen to your aircraft, your engine or yourself – then you or a passenger can shut down the engine (if applicable), pull a handle and descent to Earth under a huge parachute that carries the entire aircraft and it’s occupants.

Imagine the difference a BRS would make to your prospects if your engine failed over water or tiger-country.  How about a mid-air collision?

As you can tell – I am a convert and will be installing one of these in my aircraft just as soon as I can.
